Everyday when we go to school or after school,always see a few people come to school to propagate their cram school at the gate.But many students took these papers and then threw out them on the floor.However, these Behavior will make our school to become messy and not good-looking.
A lot of students run to cooperative during taking a break,They buy some food they want to eat,drink.Some people are walking and eating.After eat up food from cooperative,maybe a few students left their trash on the way.
Sometimes you can see Tetra Pak and food paper bag on the stairs,if someone not really lucky to step on them,I think the guy stands a good change to fall down on the stairs.
For the sack of exhorting people do not litter, we start filming a short film,we hope in Jhongsiao Junior High School’s everyone could love Jhongsiao as love our own home!
The first scene started to be shot on the staircase of the third floor. In order to convey the idea of environmental protection, we set a play of the chat among us, the students. In the beginning, we chatted and drank. While it was about time for the class, we forgot to take the PET bottle away and disposed them at randorn.
The time of the second scene was the afternoon of that day. We walked downstairs from the fourth floor to the third one. Those PET bottles we forgot to dispose were still there. One of our classmates didn’t pay attention to them. He stepped on one PET bottle and fell on the ground. In the meanwhile, we found out that there were not only our disposed PET bottles but also other trash everywhere around the staircase. Therefore, we decided to pick up all the trash voluntarily.
The opening of the next scene showed that we were going downstairs from the third floor to the second one after putting the PET bottles and the other trash picked by us to the right place. When I arrived on the second floor, I felt tired and thirsty due to what I’ve done with my classmates, so that I lifted the bottled water in hand to drink. Just as I finished drinking and was about to throw the bottle away, my classmates timely reminded me not to do that again. Otherwise, what we’ve just done would become worthless.
The final period of the scene was to remind every student not to litter trash as well as the result of littering it. He or she shall keep the following points in mind: To protect the environment, everyone will enjoy a beautiful planet and the resource can be reused. If not, the planet will be polluted and that can even result in dangerous cases happening.
The Problems and Resolving:
Here is the problems when we make the film：
1. The voices of record are unclear. The sound is too low.
2. When we make the film will make some noise and interfere other classmates.
3. Some classmates make noise or the noise of the firecracker affect us when we make the film.
4. Our hands are sometimes unstable and tired when we make the film.
5. We cannot operate the camera well, we do not know how to use some functions.
6. The time is limit, cannot discuss with other partners all the time.
7. We have some dispute when we have different opinions during the discussed with other partners.
8. Cannot save or rearrangement the film when we want to finish the movie-making on computer.
Here is our resolve：
The unclear voice record again at quiet time after photography.
We make the film in the early morning for avoiding interfering classmates.
We make the film in other place or wait for the noise for avoiding other voice.
Borrow the photo tripod from the teacher or parents .
To ask teachers or parents for helping.
Discuss and photography in the morning, after school, or on holiday for more time.
We pause the discuss first then analysis the advantages and shortcomings of all opinions, and reconciliation by others, after stop the dispute we continue discuss.
To research for information or ask teachers and follow the directions.
Above-mentioned are the problems and resolving ways we had been when we made the film. Every problems had ways to resolve. In the processing, we also learned a lot of knowledge.
In the film, we discussed how throwing trash everywhere can affect our life. This film is really short, but however, we came across many difficulties when we filmed it. In the end, we solved all the problems and finished it. There are many things we learned from this film, and we would like to share them to everyone.
Firstly, we learned how to corporate with others. There were times when we had difficulties, and we had to solve them by working with each other. While we worked with each other, we learned how to explain our ideas and feelings to others. We can also learn how to listen to others, not just telling others to do what we have in mind. We learned how to take the good ideas every group member contribute and combine them in order to make our film better.
Secondly, we learned to solve problems. The things we had in mind when we were still discussing turned out to be unreachable goals. This is the biggest mistake and problem for us. We spent a lot of time discussing a lot of good ideas. However, when we were really filming, we found ourselves too naive to believe that we could actually do what professional filmmakers can do. It is a big mistake for us. As a group, we cheered each other up and kept everything going, no matter it’s going smoothly or not. We came across many other difficulties, but we solved them one at a time with each other’s help.
The most important thing we learned is to not to let other people’s criticisms flood our words. There were people who told us that we are too young to do anything. We asked for help, but people think that we are too young to really achieve something that will affect a small part of the world (and in this case, school). There are only a few people who are willing to help us. (We are also very grateful for them.) This is why we did almost everything on our own, including filming, censoring, and even adding sounds and voices to it. It was hard work, but we somehow figured our way out. We believe that if we try hard, we can do things others think we can’t. This is how great scientists and inventors achieve their goals. Try hard. It is the most basic thing we need if we want to do anything. We have to believe in ourselves, too. It doesn’t matter what others think, the only thing that matters is what we think. If we truly believe we can succeed and try our best, things will turn out even better than what we expect.
There are many things we learned from the experience of making an educational film. We learned how to corporate with others, listen to other people’s thoughts and ideas, and solve problems. We also learned the key to success, which is trying hard and believing in ourselves. These are all great lessons for everyone.
