「…… 雨豆树，雨如豆下。虽然我还不知雨豆名称的由来，但我的解读是当冬天他的小叶转黄一一落下时，那情景就像是雨不停的飘下，这时若站在树下感受，也颇有浪漫 之意。雨豆树是一种夜晚会睡觉的树，晚上你会看到他将叶子合起。……次日太阳出来时，他又将是一天的忙碌，展开笑靥替人们服务，随着太阳的日升日落而休 息……。」
【The gist】
It means: he thinks that its name called ‘‘rain tree’’ is because he thinks when its leaves turn in yellow and fall in winter, they are like rain falling. It’ll be very romantic when you stand under the rain tree. And rain tree will sleep at night, you’ll see it closes its leaves. The next day, when the sun rises, it’ll be busy again. It provides services to the people with smiles and rests after the sun sets…...

「……例如雨豆树，以及雨豆树 下的上课情景。……在几棵大树下，助教开始介绍：这是雨豆树、含羞草科落叶大乔木，类似大叶合欢。和含羞草一样，夜晚叶片会闭合，……雨豆树是二回偶数羽 状复叶，大叶互生，小叶对生；下雨之前，水气饱和的关系，叶片纷纷闭合起来，这是很有趣的生态现象，因此英文名称是rain tree。……。每当经过这些绿荫盎然的雨豆树，总会在脑海中浮现陪伴志宁上课时，在雨豆树下出神仰望的情景。」

It’s a story about the writer and his son. The writer memoried that one day they attended class under the rain tree. After that, when the writer passes these trees every times, he would think of that time again when he attended class with his son, and they were spellbound as looking up the rain tree.
