MY MOON FESTIVAL

9/30 is moon festival . People in Taiwan have barbecue on this day .

In my family， we usually eat together in the restaurant to celebrate this special day .

After we eat ，we sell off firecrackers with my cousins . And we watch the

Moon in the park ，the moon in 9/30 is the circlest in a year .Moon and

stars at night are beautiful .

Do not forget one important thing ，eat moon cake！moon

cake is sweet and delicious .Most people like it .

How did I celebrate Moon Festival?

This is the photos, my grandpa is at the photo’s left side, and my grandma is at the right my father is beside my grandma, and the woman who was roasting is my aunt. 

The girl in the middle is my cousin; beside my cousin is my younger brother, and the right side is ME!!

These pictures said how we celebrated Moon Festival, we barbecued, ate moon cake, but we didn’t eat grapefruit because grapefruit production is less than this year!

I went to church this Saturday. My friends and I played games and had a barbecue in front of the church. The moon was big and bright. It was the day before Moon Festival. When the barbecue started, we had to make fire first. But nobody knew how to do it. We made it for a long time, suddenly someone brought a gas gun to us. It was really useful. Then we barbecued some tempuras, but the fire was too strong, the foods were all scorched. I put too much barbecue sauce on it, it was really salty. Our team told jokes and enjoyed our meal at the same time. At last, we played Sparklers together. We all had a great time then. It was an unforgettable night. I will never forget it.

At Moon Festival night, my uncle and his family came to my place. They brought two boxes of pizza to us. My mom prepared hotpot, chicken and shrimps for the dinner. She also bought some lemon juice for everyone. We shared many special and funny things to each other. The food was delicious, and I ate a lot.

After dinner, we had some dessert and fruit. Grandma gave some sugar canes to uncle, she knew he loves them very much. My sister and I went bike riding and my cousins took a walk at the park nearby my house. My parents ate moon cakes and shaddocks with my aunt. The moon in the sky was beautiful. Everyone in my family had a great time on Moon Festival.
